Windsor's exceptional quality is due to several factors:
1) Premium wood construction of select pine which is treated for long life and natural ader wood interior is also available. Windsor is leading the industry with their primed wood products by protecting the exterior with a state-of-the-art material, Cellular PVC. This is guaranteed not to rot, warp, crack or swell. The sill, sill nose and outside stop of their double hung, the sash of the casement and all brickmold are constructed from Cellular PVC. The prime casement sill also utilizes a composition sill. The Cellular PVC material is solid throughout, gives the same look and feel of wood while withstanding the elements and can be painted to match exteriors.
2) Energy conserving glass. Clear 1/4" double pane, dual sealed, insulated glass is standard in all Pinnacle Series products and carries a 20 year warranty. Optional glazings includeLoE tempered, tinted, obscure and others..
3) LoE glass is Windsor optional glass which features a coating and argon gas, which alters the way glass transmits visible and invisible light. LoE helps reduce heat loss in the window and heat gain in the summer. It also greatly reduces ultraviolet light so your furniture, drapes and carpet won't fade as quickly. Most importantly, it creates a more comfortable home.
4) Extruded aluminum. Windsor uses only heavy-duty .050 extruded aluminum cladding versus thin roll form aluminum. It is more durable and more resistant to exterior damage including dents and chips. The paint application is also thicker and more duable.
5) Tape and silicone glazed. Windsor uses silicone and tape glazing methods to ensure a water-tight seal and to slow the conduction of heat and cold.

The only sash replacement kit available in prime wood, aluminum clad wood or Cellular PVC. Win-POac allows you to replace old, drafty, rotted sash with energy efficient sash that are easy to maintain. Windsor primed and clad versions provide eary-tilt sash for effortless cleaning.
